GeoHot, known as the first true pioneer in the PS3 hacking scene, has released his first CFW for the system; enclosing a tool for adjusting the current homebrew!
3.55jb The CFW is the first release of GeoHot and allows you to start homebrew with a signature hybrid retail / debug. This particular FW is installed directly as an update of the official and 3:55 FW does not require special efforts. At the moment lsita homebrew compatible includes all popular programs developed but remember that currently the Backup Manager is not able to start games via emulation BD but only through DirectBoot which results in a very limited compatibility. It is studying a way to boot games from the XMB and extend the compatibility of DirectBoot, you'll find more news soon!
